In our system we usually have more than one medic on a truck to assisst with ALS skills on ALS calls. Sometimes it would be easier to allow the B to do the IV. I personally think it is a skill that a basic should be allowed to do. However maybe as an extra cert? Like PEPP/PALS and ACLS is to medics? What do you guys think?

Our union has put together a committee to look for a union hall. There has been discussion about leasing a suite in a strip mall, buying a house that could be fixed up and rented out to members cheap for retirement parties, Weddings etc. I personally like the idea of making payments on a home that will make our union money in the long run. I also like the idea of being able to rent it for large parties and such. Any ideas? Seen any good deals on some nice property?

It would be nice to pick up a magazine and know that there is a little something about most everything and that it was easy to find. Any thoughts?
